WS2: Increase Capacity to Identify and Support Elderly Domestic Violence Victim

Objectives:

  • Strengthen the healthcare setting capacities to better serve older women victims of domestic violence
  • Develop and implement the Best Practice Protocols in participant countries

Activities:

  • Experts update the training programme for healthcare settings
  • Develop Best Practice Protocols for identifying and supporting elderly female victims of violence in health care settings
  • Carry out Train the Trainer on how to lead elderly domestic violence support training for healthcare professionals
  • Translate training materials and health care protocols to national partner languages (Finnish, Estonian, Greek, Latvian and German)

Outputs:

  • 1 updated programme curriculum
  • 6 Best Practice Protocols and identification tools
  • 1 Training Manual
  • 1 Training with partner organizations
  • 6 local trainings with healthcare professionals
  • 6 local trainings with partner organizations
  • 20 advocacy meetings with healthcare policy makers
  • 6 advocacy campaigns per partner country
